Launched as a transformative initiative, this international HR management solution is a centralized Human Resources Information System (HRIS) that brings together employee data from across the organization. It connects key platforms like SAP SuccessFactors, Talent Connect, and local payroll systems through a strong integration layer built with MuleSoft. Designed as both a technical solution and a business tool, it ensures real-time, two-way data flows and helps HR teams to manage information more accurately, support compliance, improve reporting, and deliver better employee experience.

BUILD PHASE: Building the Backbone of Integration

The HR Management System started with a detailed analysis of business requirements and alignment across stakeholders to define a unified HR system strategy. The initial scoping phase involved setting clear project objectives, gathering functional and technical requirements, and documenting specifications that guided the system architecture.

In the development phase, a set of MuleSoft APIs were built to enable real-time, bi-directional integration between SAP SuccessFactors, Talent Connect, and various localized payroll systems. Aswell, a CI/CD pipeline was established to automate build, test, and deployment processes, improving delivery speed and reliability.

To support different organizational structures, over 15 MuleSoft applications  were developed to handle entity-specific logic across regions and divisions. These flows ensure accurate data synchronization with payroll systems while maintaining alignment with global reporting standards.

Testing was performed continuously across unit, integration, system, and performance levels to validate functionality and ensure system stability. Documentation was maintained throughout development to support knowledge transfer, troubleshooting, and future system enhancements.

The deployment was carried out through a structured release process, managing version control and environment-specific configurations to ensure consistent and secure rollouts across development, staging, and production environments. After deployment, a dedicated hyper-care phase was initiated to closely monitor the solution’s performance and promptly address any emerging issues.  

RUN PHASE: Sustaining Performance and Driving Continuous Improvement

With the HR information system successfully deployed, the project moved into its Run phase, fully managed by OliveSoft. From the beginning, it maintained a hands-on approach, supporting both implementation and operations to ensure long-term success.

In the Run phase, OliveSoft took charge of daily operational management, including system monitoring, user access control, and ongoing platform updates. This proactive management approach ensures high system availability, data security, compliance, and a stable user experience within the production environment during the run phase.

Performance monitoring played a vital role. Real-time data flows between HR and payroll systems demanded constant vigilance. Dashboards were developed to offer real-time visibility into system health, while optimized logging enabled quick diagnostics and rapid issue resolution.

When incidents occurred, whether minor bugs or emerging performance issues, we responded quickly, delivering fixes and enhancements informed by real usage patterns. These agile improvements kept the platform responsive to business needs and evolving processes.

To ensure long-term system stability, OliveSoft established and continues to perform regular daily and monthly checks as part of its operational ownership. These proactive measures help prevent potential disruptions and maintain consistent performance. In parallel, it maintains up-to-date technical documentation to support efficient knowledge transfer, simplify onboarding for new stakeholders, and enable agile adaptation to evolving business requirements.
